It’s no news to say that times have changed, and businesses that have been able to adapt to the “new normal” post COVID-19 have been the ones to thrive. Social distancing and preventive measures have moved people to shop online, and general hygiene practices have changed even the basic ways of how businesses operate, minimising physical touch points at all costs.
As a marketing agency, we’ve seen an array of businesses go digital, and we predict that many of these tools are here to stay. Here are some of the latest projects we’ve been happy to support our clients with.
Digital Menus
As restaurants open their doors to patrons again, and adopt safety measures to minimise risk for customers, digital menus have become the alternative to printed single use menus. The cost of printing, let alone the damage to the environment, is enough to steer restaurants away from traditional menu printing, and look towards a more avant-garde, tech savvy menu for their patrons. It’s good hygiene practice and ticks boxes for cost control.
And what better way to do this than by using technology already available in everyone’s pocket – their mobile phones. A simple QR code can guide patrons to your menu or price list, be it at a restaurant, bar, hotel, salon or any kind of service offering.
Booking Systems
We’ve also had the pleasure to look into a number of online booking systems for various local businesses. These are not only very easily plugged into already existing WordPress websites, but they have the additional advantages of minimising staff contact without the need for a physical book or diary, doing away with paper altogether and running your business more efficiently with automated booking, client reminders and more.
We’re always happy to share what we learn as we work on our latest projects, so stay tuned for more.
