The outer space lacked vibrancy, visual cues, and storytelling that could invite travellers to explore the shop after discovering what Malta has to offer.
The Concept Stadium team brought the exterior space to life with a fresh, modern design featuring bold colours and playful illustrations inspired by Maltese culture. The updated look reflects the vibrant energy of the Valletta Waterfront and captures the attention of passengers. Strategic customer journey messaging was introduced to match the cruise journey: “Discover Now, Shop Later” encouraging passengers to explore the island first, while “Memories Made – Time for Shopping” invites them back to take a piece of Malta home. The new visual installation turns the shop’s exterior into a storytelling moment, seamlessly blending function with destination appeal to enhance the shopping experience and build stronger cruise guest engagement.
