As a Tech & Web Developer, you’ll build fast, responsive, performance-driven websites that go beyond functionality.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain WordPress websites, both custom-built and template-based.
- Optimise performance, security, and user experience across multiple platforms.
- Design and implement UI/UX innovations for responsive, visually appealing layouts.
- Integrate multimedia elements to enhance interactivity and engagement.
- Manage website backend processes, including database design, server integration, and security protocols.
- Conduct performance tests and troubleshooting, ensuring smooth website functionality.
- Collaborate with designers and content teams to bring digital concepts to life.
- Deliver client training sessions, ensuring efficient website management.
- Create email campaigns and digital marketing assets to support brand initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in website development across multiple browsers and devices.
- Strong knowledge of UX/UI design principles and web architecture.
- Technical expertise in:
- WordPress development with a backend focus.
- Front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.
- Backend technologies: PHP, MySQL, and RESTful APIs.
- Frameworks: React or Vue.js (with React as a plus for modern frontend development).
- Server-side JavaScript: Node.js.
- Version control: Git.
- CSS pre-processing: SASS/SCSS.
- Containerization: Docker.
- SEO and performance optimization best practices.
- Ability to translate wireframes and designs into functional, dynamic websites.
