PR Media Monitoring Assistant

Are you passionate about media, news, and communications? Do you enjoy staying up to date with what’s happening across Malta’s media landscape? If you’re detail-oriented, reliable, and have a few flexible hours each day, this role is for you.

As a PR Media Monitoring Assistant, you’ll support our PR team by tracking media coverage, identifying relevant stories, and helping ensure our clients stay informed and protected.

What You’ll Do

Monitor online news portals daily and identify relevant coverage. Track brand mentions, competitor activity, and industry developments. Flag negative or sensitive coverage immediately to the PR team. Monitor selected TV news bulletins and radio segments for brand and competitor presence. Capture and organise press clippings and media references. Support basic media reporting and documentation when required.

What We’re Looking For

Familiarity with Malta’s media landscape (online, TV, and radio). Strong attention to detail and good news judgement. Reliable, organised, and able to work independently. Ability to manage flexible daily monitoring schedules (morning availability essential). Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism.

What We Offer

Paid internship / part-time role. Flexible hours (approx. 2–3 hours daily, plus weekly monitoring tasks), 15 – 20 hours on a weekly basis. This is a fully remote position, with occasional in-office meetings and training sessions as required. Hands-on experience within a leading PR and communications agency. Exposure to real client work and Malta’s media environment.
