At Concept Stadium, we’re all about supporting worthy causes that make a real difference. And when that spirit of giving inspires our team members to take action themselves, we couldn’t be prouder.
This summer, our colleague Yanica will be heading to Kenya alongside a group of friends to help build the Teresa Nuzzo Girls Secondary School.
What began as a medical student initiative where Yanica’s friends reached out to local organisations in search of voluntary work, soon grew into something much more impactful and evolved into a broader mission: building a secondary school for girls, assisting with teaching, and offering any kind of support needed for the development and day-to-day running of the school. Among the passionate individuals supporting the Congregation Daughters of the Sacred Heart at Teresa Nuzzo Foundation driving this mission, is our very own Yanica.
This project will create a space of learning, safety, and empowerment for girls in a community that truly needs it.
Why This Matters
When we asked Yanica what drew them to this particular project, her response was inspiring: “We often take education for granted when it’s offered so freely to us. Education is more than just knowledge; it’s the confidence to grow, to change, and to dream. A school like this is a long-term investment in these girls’ futures. It’s not just a short-term offering, it’s a solid foundation for the long term.”
And she’s absolutely right. In Kenya, access to quality education, especially for girls, is still a challenge. Many girls are held back by poverty, early marriage, or lack of infrastructure. According to UNESCO, only about 70% of girls complete primary school, and far fewer transition to secondary education. Projects like the Teresa Nuzzo Girls Secondary School are life-changing, offering not just learning, but opportunity, independence, and dignity.

As part of their journey, the group is raising funds to help make the school a reality. The funds will go towards building materials, educational resources, and the general set up of the school environment.
